Mary Elizabeth Penfield

Mary Elizabeth Penfield, 85, of Landrum, passed away on September 21, 2021.    She was the daughter of the late Rans and Dallas Morgan McFalls and wife of the late Grady O'Dell Penfield.

She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

She is survived by seven sons, Clifford Penfield, Robert Penfield, Paul Penfield, Mickey Penfield, John Penfield, Daniel Pierce and TJ Penfield; six daughters, Kay McFalls, Janie Long, Tina Suddeth, Tracy Rollins, Connie Hamilton, and Penny Reid; 2 brothers, David McFalls and Frank McFalls;  27 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter Janet Penfield; a step son Michael Penfield and two sisters, Lillian Wilson and Bernice Richards.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Petty Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, September 24, 2021 at Oak Grove Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Lynn Stewart.
