Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Wahl

Tryon, NC- Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Wahl, 73, of Tryon, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 22, 2023 in her home.

Mrs. Wahl was a native of Polk County, N.C., and the daughter of the late Jesse Jake and Mary Shehan. Mary was a member of Green Creek First Baptist Church. She was preceded in going to meet the Lord by a son, Darel Wahl, seven sisters, and three brothers

Surviving Mrs. Wahl are her husband of 55 years, Lindsey “Lin” Wahl; two daughters, Amy Dalbo (Eric) of Montgomery, N.Y. and Angela Sanders (James) of Atlanta, G.A.; two grandsons, Joshua Sanders and Mike Dalbo. Also surviving is a brother, Steve Shehan (Lisha) of Columbus, N.C.
