Martha L. Phillips

Martha L. Phillips, 71, loving wife of Larry Phillips for 55 years, went home to be with the Lord April 6, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late George and Bernice Green; sister to Glenn Green (Betty Lou), Les Green (Jean),  Jerry Green (Amy): Rick Green, Jean Barton (Mack) and Joyce Dill (Jesse).

She was the best mama to her children Kenneth Phillips, Kelvin Phillips (Jennifer) and Karen Allison (Kevin);  She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church in Rutherfordton, NC.  She loved flowers and enjoyed working in her rose garden.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00pm Monday, April 10, 2003 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Scott Moneyham.  Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
