Martha Marcella (Hill) Blackwell

Martha Marcella Blackwell, 79, of Landrum, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023. Born in Tryon, NC, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Nina Revis Hill and was the wife of the late Rev. Jimmie Blackwell. She was a member of Glassy Mountain Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are, one daughter, Terri (Michael) Good; one son, Keith (Missy) Blackwell; five grandchildren, Chad Good, Candice Good, Franklin Blackwell, Thaddeus Blackwell, and Sarafina Blackwell; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Marshall Keith Hill.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 12:00pm – 1:00pm at Glassy Mountain Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 1:00pm at the church with Rev. Robbie Dodd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
