Marion Davis Obituary

Marion Flynn Davis, 78, passed away April 21, 2020.  She was the daughter of the late Lewis W. and Margaret Lyles Flynn and wife of  Clarence Davis, Jr.
 
She was a member of Apalache Baptist Church in Greer.

Marion was a loving devoted wife and mother. She had an abundance of compassion for her family, her friends, and animals especially her love of Alvin, her dog.  She was a faithful daily reader of the scriptures, a dedicated grandmother, and a rescuer to any animal that happened to wander into her yard. She was many, many things to a lot of people, but most importantly, she was a faithful and dedicated wife to her loving husband of 61 years, Junior.

In addition to her husband Clarence, she is survived by two daughters, Regina Foxx (Lynn), Lori Russell (Dennis); a brother, Jeffrey D. Flynn; two sisters, Wilma Swyygert and Linda Jeanes;  grandchildren, Shandi Sledge, Jeannie Collins, Elizabeth Campbell, Christopher Smith, Kathryn Russell, Emily Stewart-Foxx and four great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Rita Ann Davis; and two granddaughters, Melissa  Hinkle and Amanda Moon; and a brother, Lyle Flynn.

Services will be private due to the Covid-19.  Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Rd, Greenville, SC 29607.
