Lou Ann McDade Smith

Lou Ann McDade Smith, 85, of Landrum passed away on September 6, 2022.  She was the daughter of the late James and Minnie Belue McDade.

Lou Ann was forever willing to help people around her and will be remembered by her kind and loving heart.

She is survived by her loving children Tammy Nix (Brent) of Hendersonville, NC and Scott Smith of Dallas, TX and her granddaughter Alivia Nix who she adored; and her caregiver Sharon Holcombe.

She was preceded in death by her  brother James McDade, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Lynn Stewart.

Burial will be in Evergeen Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home of Brent and Tammy Nix.
