Leegeenee M. Eubanks

Leegeenee McMakin Eubanks, 95, of Campobello passed away on August 12, 2022.  She was the daughter of the late Bloom Washington and Eva Mae Turner McMakin and wife of the late Ernest Eubanks.

Leegeenee's special name was given to her by her father.  She was the valedictorian of the Class of 1946 at Holly Springs. She was a member of Motlow Creek Baptist Church and was a Master Gardener through Clemson University.

She is survived by two sons Kenneth Eubanks (Miriam) and Warren "Cotton" Eubanks (Evelyn), two daughters Karen Fowler (Marvin) and Jennie Sullens (Rick), six grandchildren Mark Eubanks, Brooke Kellett, Dr. Ashley Fowler, Joseph Fowler, LaRee Jolley and Rev. Clint Sullens and 21 great grandchildren; one sister Myrtle Smith.

She was predeceased by three brothers WJ McMakin, Fulmer McMakin, Ray McMakin; two sisters  Louise Brown and Ruth McCarter and a great granddaughter Ellison Fowler.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm Tuesday, August  16, 2022 at Motlow Creek Baptist Church.  Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm at the church conducted by Rev. Clint Sullens.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
