She was also a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church where she served on various committees and a dedicated volunteer for Habitat for Humanity for many years.
When asking Lathie's friends to use a word to describe her it becomes obvious there are many words that "best" describe her. Indeed, she was a character and a lady of impeccable moral character. She was known to give friends various nicknames that seemed to stick with them long after.
She will be remembered by many for her infectious smile, witty ways, honesty and love for life. Most of all, she will be remembered for her devotion as a wife and mother and her unconditional love for her husband, Lewis and daughter, Robbie.
