Kenneth Wayne Allison

Kenneth Wayne Allison, 80, of Campobello passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.

He was born on June 17, 1944, the son of the late John L. and Mary Lucille Watkins.  He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Rogers Allison.

He retired from Spartanburg School District One.  He was a volunteer firefighter with the Holly Springs Fire Dept for many years.

He is survived by two sons, Randall Craig Allison (Amanda) of Landrum, SC and Christopher Wayne Allison (Miranda) of Simpsonville; a grandson Grant Nathaniel Allison of Simpsonville; two sisters Betty Lawson (Bill) and Cathy Byler (Dan); two brothers John D. Watkins and Benjamin Watkins (Dale) all of Campobello. He was preceded in death by one brother Randy Watkins.  He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews; eight great nieces and nephews and a great great nephew.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 22, from 3:00-5:00pm at Petty Funeral Home.  The family will hold a private service at a later date.
