Kathy Melton

Kathy Marie Melton, 64, of Campobello, SC, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026. 

Kathy was the daughter of the late Robert and Ella Mae Pitts Cooper. Kathy loved her family, embracing the titles of "mother", maw maw", and "great-grandmother". Her family will remember her as a "one of a kind". Kathy loved the Lord and attended Parkway Baptist Church. 

Surviving are two sons, Corey Gosnell (Tai) and Paul Melton, Jr.; three daughters, Misty Huitt (Darrell), Jessica D'Amico (Shane), and Cristy Gist (James); two brothers, Ricky Cooper and Terry Cooper. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 5, 2026 at North Pacolet Church with Dr. Tommy Turner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
