Obituary
Mazy Kathleen Lockhart Penfield, 92, of Greer, formerly of Landrum passed away on March 12, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Levi Chase and Mary Lorena McDade Lockhart and wife of the late Hubert E. Penfield.
She was a CNA retired from Greenville Hospital System. Later in life she worked as a private sitter.
She is survived by a son Sebrain Penfield; four daughters Lorraine Penfield, Kathy Ridgeway, Betty Sarvghad and Martha Penfield; two sisters Violet Searcy and LeeAnn Page; a sister in law Doris Bowers; three grandsons, Jake Penfield, Daniel and David Sarvghad and one great granddaughter Laila Grace Sarvghad.
She was predeceased by a son Phillip Penfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Petty Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Sean McKaig. Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
