Karen Ayers

Karen D. Ayers, 62, of Landrum passed away on December 30, 2023.  She was the daughter of the late Phillip Timothy Hudson and Lillie Davis Hudson and wife of David Ayers.

She is survived by her husband David Ayers, her mother Lillie Hudson; a son Josh Ayers (Nikki); a daughter Allison Kelly (Brian); four grandchildren Tucker Lee Ayers, Bentlee Brian Kelly, Hudson "Hootie" Gene Ayers and David Laykin Kelly; a brother James Hudson and two sisters Rita Jackson and Diana Painter.

She was predeceased by two sisters Brenda Hudson and Gina Covil.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel  conducted by Rev. Lynn Stewart.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
