Joyce Linda (Stott) Estep

Joyce Linda Stott Estep, 73 of 450 Hickory Grove Church Rd. passed away May 17, 2018 at her home.  A native of Columbus NC she was the wife of Richard Estep and daughter of the late Marvin and Velva Pate Stott and was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to her husband include two daughters, Theresa Payne (Chris) and Shannon Greene; four sisters, Josephine McSwain (Eugene), Hazel Rice, Evelyn Green, and Shirley Foy(Jesse); two granddaughters, Cassie Schwartztrauber, Amanda Whittemore (Jacob); three grandsons, Adam Buchanan, Alex Greene, Joshua Estep; great grandchildren, Jaycee and Grayson McKinney, Michael and Suriah Whittemore.

She was preceded by two brothers, Gerald and Luther Stott and a daughter Michelle Estep Althizer.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday May 20, 2018 at Petty Funeral Home at 3:00 pm with Pastor Billy Rice officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
