Joy Bryan Stuckey

Joy Curtis Bryan Stuckey, 93, of Landrum, SC, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at her home. 

Born in Hartsville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Tyson Alexander and Betty Hale Curtis. She was the widow of Henry Carrol Bryan. Joy was a member of Hemingway First Methodist Church , Hemingway, SC. 

Surviving are a son, Henry Carrol  Bryan (Susan); three daughters, Cindy McCarren (Greg), Vicki B. Abunassar, and Jill Curtis Bryan; a sister, Gale Elliott; grandchildren, John Hutcherson, Bryan Hutcherson, Taylor Hutcherson, Amber Victoria Abunassar, Trey Bryan, Lauren Joye, Henry Bryan, Mackenzie Burroughs, Anna Noel Franklin, and Sierra Summer Barnette; great-grandchildren, Noah Hutcherson, Caleb Hutcherson, Emma Grace Hutcherson, Saylor Joye, Tillman Joye, Bella Bryan, and Josie Burroughs. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Joy was predeceased by a brother, Sonny Curtis and a great-grandson, Tyler Hutcherson. 

A graveside service will be held at 3:00p.m., Monday, December 1, 2025 at Motlow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Reggie Parker officiating.
