Jean Emery

Wanda Jean White Emery, 73, of Landrum passed away on November 28, 2024 after a 15 year battle with cancer.  She was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Bonnie Davis White and wife of Duane Emery.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Duane Emery; two daughters Maria Salmi and Katina Duncan; two brothers Robert Dale White and Charles Russell White; and four grandchildren Saige McGarity, Kaitlyn Olivia Holland, Kyla Christine Hughes and Chance Chase Duncan.

She was predeceased by a daughter Shannon Alycia Holland.

She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.  She retired from BellSouth.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and loved to work in her yard.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Monday, December 2, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Pete Wilbanks.  Burial will be in the church Cemetery.
