Jane Jones

Jane Jones, 77, of Landrum passed away on October 17, 2024.  She was the daughter of the late Horace Edwin "Bud" and Marguerite Jewell Wilson Williams and wife of Danny L. Jones.

She was raised in the Polk county area growing up with five generations. Jane's greatest accomplishment was raising her three beautiful daughters.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and going on family trips. She was a member of Landrum First Baptist Church and retired from St. Luke's Hospital after 38 years.   

She is survived by her husband Danny Jones; three daughters Angie Upton (Carey), Cindi Tezza (John) and Tracey West (Lee); a sister Jean Stoner; seven grandchildren Kaylee West, Grant Upton, Kimberly Upton Adomat (Alex), Ashlin Cash, Konner West, Raegan Cash, and Sydney West; and a great grandchild due in April.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm at Petty Funeral Home.   Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Petty Funeral Chapel at 2:00pm conducted by Rev. Jack Howard and Rev. Jimmy Camp.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
