James "Jeff" Jefferson Collins

James "Jeff" Jefferson Collins, 37, of Campobello, passed away on July 14, 2025. He was the son of J.L. and Carol Sue Fishtorn Collins and the husband of Jennifer Michelle Bowers Collins.

He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting guns and swords. He loved his wife and he adored his parents and was their caregiver. He was always in the kitchen when his mother was cooking and he was a great cook himself and enjoyed cooking for his parents and wife. He cooked all of their meals. Jeff had a huge heart. His mother and father said he was their surprise when he was born but turned out to be the biggest blessing. Jennifer said they were just meant for each other and made each other better.

In addition to his parents and wife, Jennifer, he is survived by his brothers, Dwayne and Todd Collins.

He was predeceased by a brother Vernon Fishtorn.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
