James Turner

James Aaron Turner, 65, of Landrum, SC, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at his home. 

Born in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late Aaron and Betty Gowan Turner. James enjoyed fishing, hiking, boating, and off-roading in his jeep. He worked as an EMT and paramedic in Georgia, also working as a life flight paramedic. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. 

Surviving are his wife, Sherry Dynes Turner; a daughter, Chelsea Christensen (Nathaniel). Also surviving are two grandchildren, Korina and Elisha Christensen. 

In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by a sister, Nena Anderson. 

A memorial service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church at a later date.
