James Jackson "Jack" Plumley, 81, of Landrum passed away on December 7, 2021. He was the son of the late Earl and Vernie Howard Plumley and husband of the late Fannie Howard Plumley.
He is survived by two sons, Danny "Buck" Plumley and Johnnie Plumley (Lynn); two daughters Jackie Burns (Todd) and Tammy Pittman (Danny); a brother, John Ansel Plumley and a sister Linda Howard; six grandchildren Stephanie Gambrell, Luke Slatton (Stephanie), Shelly Killian (Richard Murray), Kelly Estep (Cody Maybin), Kimberly Plumley and Angel Pittman; 8 great grandchildren Braelyn Killian, Wyatt Murray, Jayden Estep, Cylie Plumley, Kyndall Plumley, Kristopher-James Howard, Braxton Slatton and Jada Fancher.
He was predeceased by a daughter Tina Darlene Plumley.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Petty Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Mountain Hill Community Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Dewayne Pruitt and Rev. Robert Bowling.
The family is at the home of Tammy Pittman, 101 Christ Rock Camp Road, Landrum.
