Ila Mary (Davis) Shook

Ila Mary Davis Shook, 88, of Columbus, NC passed away October 10, 2020 at Hospice of the Carolinas Foothills.  She is the daughter of the late Fred & Kathleen Burrell Davis and wife of the late J.C. Shook.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, retired from Milliken, a caregiver and loved gardening and canning her vegetables.

She was survived by a son, James Michael "Woody" Williams (Joyce); three daughters, Deborah Darlene Robbins, Ginger Carol Helton (Bobby), Patricia Annette Edwards (Kevin); two brothers, Bob and William Davis; two sisters, Eula Edwards, Lillie Hudson; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by a daughter, Mary Lucille Fowler; a brother, Charles Davis; two sisters, Annie Raines and Isabella Laughter.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00AM Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Faith Baptist Church.  Funeral services will follow in the church at 11:00AM conducted by Rev. Hubert Street and Rev. Jacob Williams.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
