Herbert Fitch

Herbert Fitch, 83, of Landrum passed away on June 25, 2021.  He was the son of the late Herbert and Christine Pruitt Fitch and husband of the late Vertie Blackwell Fitch.

He was a member of Jackson Grove United Methodist Church and was a retired carpenter.

He is survived by three sons Randy Fitch, Kim Fitch and Daniel Fitch; a daughter Betty Beckley; 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by four children Patricia Grigg, Gaye Blackwell, Darleen Lavender and Larry Grigg; and brothers and sisters Horace Fitch, Harold Fitch, Joe Fitch, Billy Fitch, Margaret Oliver, Shirley Fowler and Frances Fitch.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Petty Funeral Home.   Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Jane Jenkins.  Burial will be in Jackson Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
