Gordon Thomas Lee, 50, of Landrum passed away on November 20, 2021. He was the son of Janey Wright Lee and the late Robert E. "Bobby" Lee and husband of Sheila Grigg Lee.
Gordon ran Lee's Dairy Farm with his family for most of his life. He was a cattle farmer and a USDA meat inspector. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church Landrum where he was a former deacon and served on several committees. He was a graduate of Landrum High School, Anderson College and NC State University. He served 10 years on the Spartanburg District 1 School Board. He was a former Spartanburg Soil & Water Commissioner and a former member of the Spartanburg County Young Farmer's Chapter and the Spartanburg County Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sheila Lee; his mother Janey Lee; a son Grayson Lee; a daughter Kennedi Lee; a brother Barry Lee and wife Amy and a sister, Robin Howell and husband Mike and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Friday, November 26, 2021 at First Baptist Church Landrum. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Landrum High School Gym conducted by Rev. Mark Bishop. Burial will be in Landrum Cemetery.
