Gayle (Berry) McCraw

Barbara Gayle McCraw, 74, of Spartanburg, SC went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2021 with her family by her side.  Born in Spartanburg, SC, she was a daughter of the late John J. (Jay) Berry and Julia Hutchins Berry.

 Gayle was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She owned and operated H&R Block in Chesnee, SC. Gayle was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 55 years, Ray McCraw; two sons, David (Catheryn) McCraw of Greenville, SC and Eric (Tammy) McCraw of Boiling Springs, SC; two grandchildren, Abby M. Thompson (Blake) of Chesnee, SC and Tyler McCraw of Boiling Springs, SC; a sister, Julene (Jay) Davis of Bishopville, SC; special family members, Joe (Pam) Collins of Boiling Springs, SC and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
 
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Fairview Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC.    The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the church conducted by Pastor Ty Childers.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
