Gail Louise (Stern) Knighton

Gail Louise Stern Knighton, 71, of Greer, formerly of New York, passed away March 2, 2019 at the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.  She was the daughter of the late Morris "Dick" and Esther Goldberg Stern and the wife of Randy Knighton.

She was of the Jewish faith.  Gail was a flower child and loved yoga, music and especially her cats. She loved retirement and living in South Carolina, where the people received her with open arms.

In addition to her husband Randy, she was survived by a step daughter Stephanie Mahaffey (David); grandchildren, Brittney, Laura and Heather; a sister, Adrian Rabinowitz; a nephew, Spencer Kane and a niece, Lauren Spark (Kevin).

A funeral service will be held Monday, March 4, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Shiloh Memorial Cemetery conducted by Rev. Mike Bowers.  The family will receive friends immediately following the burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615; American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA) or to the charity of one's choice.

The family will be at the home.
