Frances McSwain

Frances Hannon McSwain, 93, of Landrum passed away on May 2, 2024.  She was the daughter of the late Robert E. Lee and Eva Crow Hannon and wife of the late Hubert Walden McSwain.  She was also predeceased by her first husband Harold Johnson.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was retired from Hoechst Celanese.

She is survived by three daughters Ellen Greene (Randy), Helen Horton and Teresa Doll (Mike); a step daughter Diane Bishop and a step son Pat McSwain; a brother Steve Hannon; two sisters Dorothy Grissom and Wanda Melvins; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two daughters Martha Cooper and Darlene Searcy and a step son Tommy McSwain.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Bible Baptist Church.  Funeral services will follow at the church conducted by Dr. Tommy Turner.  Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
