Farrell Dean Atkins, 49, of Landrum, passed away on May 31, 2023. He was the son of the late Farrell Floyd Atkins and Shirley June Harris Atkins.
He was a member of Landrum United Methodist Church and a Manager at the Hare and Hound Restaurant in Landrum. Farrell's love of music, art and vintage collectibles were passions that he loved sharing with everyone. His ability to find beauty in every day and bring a smile to every face is unmatched. The light that shown so brightly from his smile will be sorely missed by every person and every community that were blessed enough to know him.
He is survived by his sisters, Teresa Dameron (Roy) and Janet Gosnell (Ray). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a nephew, Aaron Dameron.
The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00PM, Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Petty Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 5:00PM in the funeral home chapel conducted by Pastor Nancy Reed.
