Evelyn Wright

Evelyn Shults Wright, 72, of Wellford, SC, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 in her home. 

She was the daughter of the late W.C. and Carolyn Raines Shults. Evelyn was the widow of Bobby R. Wright who passed away in 2023. Evelyn enjoyed crocheting, decorating cakes, board games, and puzzles. She loved Jesus and her family and friends. Evelyn was an avid Clemson fan. She loved her two dogs, Harlee and DeeDee.

Surviving are two sons, Daniel and Scott (Jamie) Wright; a grandson, Zach Wright. Also surviving are several beloved nieces and nephews, and she loved being called "Sweet Aunt Evelyn".  

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, George Shults, Roy Shults, and Dickie Shults. 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, February 16, 2024 at Petty Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Godfrey officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm - 2:00pm prior to the service. 

Burial will be at Perkins Memorial Cemetery, Monday, February 19, 2024 at 11:00am.
