Evelyn Adeline (Barkley) Levister

Evelyn Adeline Barkley Levister, of Landrum, passed away on October 3, 2022.  She was the daughter of the late Leroy Barkely and the late Allie Belue McSwain and the wife of the late Bobby Leonard Levister.

Evelyn loved to cook and garden and was a very loving mother and grandmother.  She loved her fur babies, Sissy and Cody, and her friends but, most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her sons, Tony (Wanda) and Wayne (John)  Levister; brothers, Larry, Mickey and Kenneth Pierce; a sister, Lou Anne Howard; ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Ronny Levister; a brother, Jack Pierce and a sister, Elizabeth Blackwell. 

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at Petty Funeral Home.  Graveside services will follow at 12:15 PM at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Amedisys Hospice, 250 Commonwealth Dr Suite 105, Greenville, SC 29615.

The family will be at the home.
