Ernst Mahler Obituary

Ernst Mahler, Jr., 1926-2019, was born in Oshkosh, WI, the son of Ernst and Carol Mahler. He served in WWII in the Coast Guard/Navy. "Pete" was an avid fisherman, golfer and private pilot. Involved in many businesses over the years he also supported many philanthropic causes.

He was a long-time member of Rotary and past president. Pete enjoyed life and talking to people. His generous heart, sharp wit and big spirit made any gathering more fun for those around him.

Surviving are his wife Nancy, sons Ernst (Karla) and Gary (Dede), stepdaughter Peyton (Aubrey), and grandchildren Amy, Kacey, Grant, Keith, Halle, Saier, and Everett.
