Emma Jean (Jackson) Cooke

Emma Jean Cooke, 75, of Inman, passed away August 3, 2022 at the Upstate Community Hospice House. She was daughter of the late Catherine Hollifield and Howard Jackson and wife of the late Calvin Curtis Cooke.

She was of the Baptist faith and loved nature and the outdoors, especially watching the birds.  She also loved her dogs but most of all loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Clifford and Ronnie Cash; grandchildren, Jason Cash, Bridgette Cash and Alysa Turner; a great grandchild, Ava Leigh Skipper and a great grandchild on the way, "Little Nubby". 

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Farris, Glenn, and Marvin Jackson and her sister, Patsy Jackson.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Monday, August 8, 2022 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Dr. Tommy Turner.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church, 330 West Finger Street, Landrum SC 29356 or to the Foothills Humane Society, 989 Little Mountain Road., Columbus NC 28722.
