Elzie Nathan Raines

Elzie Nathan Raines, 70, of Ellenboro passed away October, 18 2023 at Atrium Health.  A native of Polk County he was son of the late Agnes Corn and Elzie Mack Raines and husband of Bobbie Hannon Raines. He was a former employee for Cone Mills and also worked for the city of Shelby.

Survivors include in addition to his wife are children, Heather Wilson, Robert Raines, Jennifer Dockery, and Matthew Raines; one brother Jamie Raines; one sister Joan Conner; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Mountain View Church in Mill Spring. Funeral services will will follow at 3:00 conducted by Nick Flynn. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
