Elizabeth "Betty" Wooley

Elizabeth "Betty" Bishop Wooley, 84, of Landrum passed away on December 24, 2018.  She was the daughter of the late Elmo and DeLancy Swindler Bishop and wife of Richard "Dick" Wooley for 61 years.

She was a member of Landrum First Baptist Church.  She worked at Hatch Mill in Columbus and was a babysitter for many years.

She is survived by her husband Dick Wooley; two daughters Janet Johnson (Joey) of Campobello and Carleen Wooley of Landrum; four grandsons Roger, Kenneth, Joe and Richard; and five great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a daughter FranDe Wooley Richards.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00pm Friday, December 28, 2018 at Petty Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow at 4:00pm at the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Harold Thompson.
