Elizabeth "Betty" Oliver

Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Oliver, 86, of Campobello passed away on October 31, 2023.  She was the daughter of the late Philitus and Bleassie Splawn Pressley and wife of the late James B. Oliver.

She was a member of Stateline Baptist Church and worked as a CNA at White Oak Manor.

She is survived by a son James B. Oliver, Jr., a daughter Christine Scruggs; a brother Robert Pressley; two sisters Barbara Bradley and Frances Ruff; two grandsons and four granddaughters; and six great grandchildren; a brother in law Tommy Oliver and a sister in law Barbara Corn.  She was predeceased by two sisters Mary and Margaret.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Michael Owenby, Rev. Landon Rhoden and Rev. Randy Metcalf.   Burial will be in North Pacolet  Baptist Church Cemetery.
