Elizabeth Sain Obituary

Elizabeth "Betty" Sain, 90, of Landrum, SC went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 surrounded by her family and friends.   Betty was born on July 25, 1929 in Wenatchee, WA to the late Patrick Fraley and Edith Piper Clark.

A  loving mother, nana and friend, Betty was a member of The Well in Landrum.  She worked at numerous banks before retiring from First Citizens Bank in Tryon, NC.  She is survived by her loving daughters whom she adopted in Germany, Terri Moore (Henry Dobey) and Merri McClure both of Landrum; six grandchildren Andy Moore (Tiffany), Erika McClure Burnett (Coy), Chalan Smith Black, Jeremy Cabrera (Vanessa), Debbie Dobey and Tiffany Dobey Gobillot; eight great grandchildren Drew Black, Isaac and Silas Moore, Christian, Cole, Addyson, Aubrey and Cullen Cabrera.  She was predeceased by her grandson Stanley Delaney Moore, III and her brother Robert Fraley Clark.

Betty was a motherly figure to many people including Mark Branyon (Susie) and Stacey Glover of Landrum.

Special friends include Patsy Toney and Judy Higgins among many others.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Patriot Hospice and their caring employees Travis Ramsey, Chaplain Alan Poe, Andria Salters, Candace Litwin and Jodie Wooten and a very special thank you to her home health nurse Christina Hughes for her care and compassion.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm Friday, February 14, 2020 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Mark Branyon, Rev. Brannon Poore and Rev. Jimmy Camp.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Patriot Hospice or to Paws, Prayers and Promises.

The family is at the home.
