Donny Lee Fowler, Sr.

Donny Lee Fowler, Sr., 86, of Campobello, SC, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at his home. 

Born in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Joseph M. and Edith Hyder Fowler. Donny was a well known mechanic, owning and operating Fowler's Brother's Garage for over 40 years, and having worked on nascar crews with Bobby Allison and James Hylton. Donny also enjoyed farming, riding motorcycles, and restoring antique tractors. He served eight years with the United States National Guard. He was a member of Motlow Creek Baptist Church. 

Survivng are his wife of 66 years, Elaine Blackwell Fowler; a son, Warren Stacey Fowler (Melony); a brother, Rick Nelson Fowler; three sisters, Lynn Hall, Virginia "Jennie" McAninch, and Katherine Eidson. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, Donny was predeceased by two sons, Donny Lee Fowler, Jr., and Anthony Austin "Tony" Fowler; three brothers, Thomas Edward "Pete" Fowler, Marvin R. Fowler, and Joe Dean Fowler. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Petty Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Seay officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 10:00am - 11:00am prior to the service.
