Donna Sue Tuttle Jennings of Landrum, SC, passed away on Monday, October 16th, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Caldwell County, NC on January 2nd, 1949 to the late William Howard Tuttle and Mildred Smiley Tuttle.
She was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church in Inman, SC. She worked a large part of her career at Knob Creek/Ethan Allen Furniture company in Drexel, NC until it closed. She then worked for many years at Continental Teves in Morganton, NC until her retirement. She had a passion for gardening. Her love for flowers was evident by the vast variety she planted in her memorial garden to honor each of her loved ones that passed away before her. She loved camping and traveling. Donna was also a very talented artist. Not only did she create beautiful paintings and painted items, she also taught painting classes as well. She had a huge love for animals. Particularly her dogs; Buster, Trixie and Suzie, whom, she loved and adored immensely. She always had a smile on her face and a positive outlook on life. She will forever be cherished and remembered by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her previous husband, Roland Billy "Bill" Greene Sr.; son, Daniel Walker; brothers, John "Buddy" Tuttle, Robert "Bobby" Tuttle, Randall "Randy" Tuttle; and sister, Brenda Tuttle Bolick.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Jennings of the home; two sisters Barbara DeVinny and Gail Hill; daughters, Rebekah Walker Steel, Tracy Walker Smith and husband Ken; grandchildren, Jessica Stilwell and husband Billy, Josh Walker and fiancé Hannah, Kendra Kelly and husband Justin, Nick Smith and husband Austin, Bailey Walker and wife Brittany, Lara Brooks and husband Cole, Tanner Steel, Johnny Steel; great grandchildren, Chloe, Abram, Faith, Will, Jaxon, Scarlett, Colton, Caroline, Phin, August, Willow, Riley, Grayson, and Jayden.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 21st, 2023 in the Mausoleum at Burke Memorial Park Cemetery, 2506 Burke Memorial Park Road, Morganton, NC 28655. The funeral will follow at 12:00 pm with the Pastor Dr. Reggie Parker officiating.
