Donald Earl Edwards

Donald Earl Edwards, 75, of Greer, SC, passed away on January 5, 2025. He was the son of Forest Irene Edwards and the late Thomas Earl Edwards and the husband of Rachel Ann Wilson Edwards.

He attended Mountain View Church of God of Prophecy and was a United States Air Force veteran. Donald was a musician, song writer and had a beautiful voice. He enjoyed the outdoors with his family; fishing and camping. He also had a passion for art and was a great artist. He was funny and outgoing which is why he always loved to get out and go. Donald loved his family but most of all loved his Lord. 

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Michael Edwards (Joy) and a daughter, Jennifer Edwards; step children, Thomas Bosket (Gretchen), Mark Bosket (Kim) and Crystal Ann Elliott (Darrell); grandchildren, Michael Edwards, Emma Edwards, Gracie Edwards, Daniel Powell and Haley Hughes (Ernest); a step granddaughter, Alex Bosket; great-grandchildren, Amelia and Elliana Hughes, Lucas and Milo Hughes-Vanackere; a brother, Charles Edwards and a sister, Betty Fisher (Tommy).

Donald was predeceased by his first wife, Kathleen Lois Edwards, who passed away in 2015. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00PM Monday, January 13, 2025 at Mountain View Church of God of Prophecy, 1105 Wingo Road, Campobello, SC 29322, where the funeral service will follow at 2:00PM conducted by Rev, Donnie O'Shields. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Greer, SC.
