Dexter Pace

Robert Dexter Pace, 68, of Landrum passed away on April 26, 2021.  He was the son of the late Robert Christopher Pace and Josephine Hyder Vetter.  He was the beloved husband of Julia Waldrop Pace for 49 years.  He was an avid golfer and peach farmer.  Dexter loved life and he lived it to the fullest.  He served in the National Guard and was a Shriner; he retired from Mitsubishi Polyester Film after 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Julia; two sons Josh Pace and John Robert Pace; a grandson Jackson Pace; a brother Dennis C. Pace; and two sisters Donna Pace Pruitt (Darren) and Debbie Pace Beasley.

 A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm Friday, April 30, 2021 at Petty Funeral Chapel.  The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
