Chuck is survived by his loving wife Missy, of 30 years. They made their house a home where everyone was welcome for some deck time. He is also leaving two fur babies, Jack and Twinkie.  He also leaves behind a loving niece, Angie Bright-Chandler.

Chuck is predeceased by son, Jason Richard Bright and a daughter Mildred Melissa Bright.

Chuck was so appreciative and thankful for the beautiful care from Kindred Hospice. The Chaplain, case worker, and our special nurse, Mindy are the best. Their priority was care for both of us.

Services will be held at Gramling United Methodist Church on Sunday August 8th at 3pm with visitation at 2pm prior to the service.  Pastor Rick Brown officiating. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery following the service. Pall Bearers are the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office Drill Team and they will perform full Police Rights at the gravesite.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lennie's Kids in Tryon or Kindred Care of Spartanburg.

Please come casual and be happy. Chuck has been called home and this is a great day. And he wanted everyone to know, "Ain't nothing but a thang"
