Charles Dean Snow, 74, of Campobello passed away on February 1, 2025. He was the son of the late Charles Edward and Marjorie Brown Snow and husband of Debbie Seay Snow.
Chuck held a deep aspiration throughout his life to ensure his wife and children experienced happiness and never faced hardship. He dedicated most of his time to supporting his family, working at Phillips Fibers and proudly serving in the Army National Guard for 22 years. One of his greatest pleasures came from designing and constructing a beautiful home where they could create lasting memories together. As a skilled mechanic, he never backed down from a challenging project. Family beach vacations were a cherished tradition, where he shared his passion for surf fishing with his children and grandchildren. Chuck had a special affection for all the pets he welcomed into his life, particularly his beloved dog, Burt. An outdoorsman at heart, he loved taking his family on hikes and camping trips. As a devoted husband and father, Chuck's warmth and love will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Seay Snow; two daughters, Christy Hopkins (Eddie), Amy Vandivier (Mark), nine grandchildren, William (Patricia), Joseph (Catherine), Edwin, Caroline, Ena, Erin, Chloe, Sawyer and Ellie; three great grandchildren Emmet, Anna and Naomi; a sister Bonnie Snow; a niece Gina Smith; and his beloved mother in law Merle Seay.
He was preceded in death by a son Andrew Jackson Snow and a brother Edward Snow.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm at Petty Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held for the family.
Memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
