Charles K. Rodgers
Charles Kenneth Rodgers, 87, passed away March 11, 2023 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Inman. A native of Spartanburg County he was son of the late Eula Agnes Thurmond and Harvey Yufford Rodgers and husband of Betty Tucker Rodgers. He was a former employee for South Carolina Department of Transportation, a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was former Assistant Pastor and Redeemed Baptist Church.
Survivors include in addition to his wife two step sons, Kenneth Burrell and Erwin Burrell; a step daughter Wanda Burrell Workman; one brother Thomas D. Rodgers; one sister Linda Rodgers Johnson; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one great-great granchild.
He was predeceased by a sister Vivian Jeannette Rodgers Williams and a daughter Shannon Nicole Rodgers.
The family will receive friends Wednesday March 15, 2023 from 2:00-3:00 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 in the chapel conducted by Robert Lance. Burial will be in Redeemed Baptist Church Cemetery.
