Charles Medley Obituary
Charles Roland Medley, 86, of Campobello, passed away on February 8, 2021. He was the son of the late James Coverse and Frances Coker Medley. He is the husband of Avalon Mosley Medley.
Charles and his wife were married for sixty three and half years. He was a founding member of New Faith Baptist Church in Campobello, where he and his wife devoted all of their extra time. He was a Sunday School Teacher and a Deacon. He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War. If there was ever anyone that need help, Charles was there for them.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Charles E. Medley (Sheila) and Glenn Medley (Kay); a daughter Teresa Leyva (Craig); six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, J.C. and Larry Medley.
He was predeceased by a brother, Winfred Medley and a sister, Margaret Medley.
A private service will be held at a later date.
