Caroline Schulz, 84, of Tryon passed away on September 29, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Mary Pollard Novak McConnell.
Caroline was the Administrative Assistant for the Stuart Sailfish Club and Marine Industries Association in Stuart, FL for almost 20 years. In 1997, she moved to North Carolina and worked for Rutherford County IDPC and then at Ingles in Landrum until 2019.
She is survived by a son Robert Schulz (Courtney); a daughter Tracey Brannon (Doug); grandchildren Catherine Schulz, Caris Schulz, Chris Heyer (Tabby), Cody Heyer (Melissa); Spike Brannon (Brittny), Lexi Brannon; five great grandchildren Henry Robert Heyer, George Daniel Heyer, Scarlett Faye Heyer, Dorothy Caroline Heyer, and Hailey Hyder.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Petty Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Thomas Olson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Laurelwoods Assisted Living activities program for "Caroline's Garden" created in her honor or to the Alzheimers Association.
The family requests that everyone wear Caroline's favorites, the color purple or Snoopy.
