C.L. Cartee

C.L. Cartee, 86, of Campobello passed away on October 21, 2018.  He was the son of the late Ed and Eliza Stapleton Cartee and husband of the late Charleen Raines Cartee.

He was retired from Overnight Transportation and was of the Baptist faith and attended Parkway Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons Richard Cartee and wife Gail and Carl Cartee and wife JoRetta; a sister, Emma Williams; six grandchildren, Heath Cartee (Jenny), Landon Cartee (Brittany), Autumn Cartee, Joey Cartee (Tabatha), Justin Cartee and Caitlin Lovett (Michael); and eight great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter Bonnie Diane Cartee; two brothers, Belton and Jim Cartee and a sister, Della Mae Stapleton.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Petty Funeral Home.   Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Parkway Baptist Church conducted by Rev. John Smith, Dr. Tommy Turner and Rev. Curtis Daniels.     Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
