Burton Lee "Bill" Lancaster, Jr., 103 of Landrum passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at his home. He was born on November 4, 1921, the son of the late Burton Lee Lancaster, Sr. and Edna Orr Lancaster and husband of the late Margaret Prince Lancaster.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Landrum for 83 years where he served as the Sunday School secretary for many years and was a retired electrician.
He is survived by his daughter Janet Wilson (Roy); four grandchildren, Kim Wilson, Steven L. Wilson (Amy) of Landrum, Meredith A. Martin (Jim) of Spartanburg and Jennifer W. Williams (Chris) of Harrisburg, NC. Nine great grandchildren, Lindsay Jackson (JR), Jordan and Clara Wilson, Yancy, Andrew and John Avery Killian, Skyler, Cade and Jase Williams two sisters Nancy Giles and Naida Forbes. He was predeceased by a great grandson, Noah Daniel Wilson five brothers Edward, Donald, Stanley, Finley and Johnny Lancaster and a sister Starr Quinn.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm Saturday, March 29, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Landrum. A funeral service will follow at 3:00pm conducted by Rev. Mark Bishop. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Landrum Building Fund, 300 E. Rutherford St., Landrum, SC 29356 or to Agape Hospice, 260 Fairwinds Drive, Landrum, SC 29356.
