Bill Eidson

William (“Bill”) Roland Eidson, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 28th 2023. Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late Arthur Warren Eidson and Margaret Scott Eidson.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Fowler Eidson, son Arthur Allen Eidson (Audrie) of Atlanta, Ga., two grandsons William Alexander (Alex) Eidson and Maxwell (Max) Scott Eidson.

Bill graduated from Dreher High School in Columbia, SC and Georgia Institute of Technology, where he played varsity basketball. Bill was a veteran and served as a First Lieutenant in the Army. After his military service, he became an avid tennis player winning several state championships.

Bill was retired from a lengthy career with IBM. He was also a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
