Betty P Rodgers

Betty P. Rodgers, 88, of Landrum passed away on June 26, 2023.  She was the daughter of the late John Roe and Emmie Lockhart Pierce and wife of the late Charles Rodgers.   

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was retired from South Carolina Elastic.

She is survived two sons Kenneth Burrell and Erwin Burrell and a daughter Wanda Burrell Workman (Kenneth); two brothers General (Brenda) Pierce and Truman Pierce; a sister Macie Bailey; seven grandchildren Monica Pierce  (Nickey),  Jennifer Morton, Keith Workman (Haley), Casey Green (Liam), Michelle Bush (Sean), Nicole Burrell and Samantha Burrell; 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was predeceased by her first husband Roy Burrell, her second husband Earl Tucker, and her sister Victoria Lawter.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm Friday, June 30, 2023 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Charles McClure.    Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
