Betty Crisp

Betty Lucille Ezell Crisp, 89, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House. 

Born in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edgar and Mary Lucille Lovin Ezell. Betty enjoyed quilting, cooking, and canning. She was a homemaker. 

In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by a brother, Charles Harold (Bud) Ezell; two sisters, Laura Kay Ezell Parris and Shirley Jean Ezell Davis, and two sons, William "Bill" Harrison and Terry Lee Crisp. 

Surviving are a daughter, Penny Crisp (Maurice); a sister, Phyllis Ezell (Billy); a brother, Cecil Ezell; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Crisp; grandchildren, Thomas Bell (Kristen), Jennifer Blackwell (Travis), Princess Kori Long, Dustin Crisp (Allison), and Sami Benard (Mike); great- grandchildren, Cody Howard (Krystin), Austin Howard, Elijah Reeder, Averi Vance, Mason Blackwell, William Bell, Brayden Long, Ashton Crisp, Drake Long, Hunter Spangler, Kullyn Benard, Lucas Franklin, Hudson Crisp, and Nathan Crisp. Also surviving is a great-great grandchild, Aiden R. Howard. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, August 5, 2024 at Petty Funeral Home with Chaplain Katie Harbin officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 10:00am - 11:00am prior to the service. 

Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, Boiling Springs, SC.

The family will be at the home of her sister, Phyllis.
