Bernice (Henderson) Price

Bernice Price, 86, of Landrum, passed away at White Oak Manor in Tryon, NC on July 10, 2021.  She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Ollie Henderson  and married to the late Charles W. Price.

Bernice was a member of Tryon Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a dedicated nurse for over thirty years.  She loved to write poetry but most of all she loved her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kathy L. Price, Laurie Wood (Randy), Ruthann Price and Kathy C. Price; three grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  She is also survived by lots of nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Clyde Henderson and a sister, Muriel H. Underwood.

The family will receive friends from 11:00AM-12:00PM on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 12:00PM in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens in Chesnee.
