Belinda Berry Hinson

Belinda Berry Hinson, 81, of  Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on July 21 after a difficult battle with aphasia and dementia. 

Belinda was born on October 17, 1940 to William Golden Berry and Fannye Hughes Berry in Sheffield, Alabama. She graduated from Terry Parker High School (Jacksonville, Florida) in 1959. 

In 1956, Belinda met her soulmate, Robert Judson Hinson, who she married after graduation.  Belinda and Judson went on to have 3 children, Dawn, Lori and Brandi. 

Throughout her life with Judson, they were very involved in Square Dancing and dedicated to their Church. 

Belinda was predeceased by her loving husband, Judson, and 2 sisters, Kay Francis Berry and  Billie Rae Berry. She is survived by her family, Dawn and Les Wright, Lori Jewell,  Brandi Hinson, Tori Gahrmann and Gene Aiken, Jennifer and Andrew George and Emma Donna and Jorge Hernandez. 

She will be laid to rest with her husband at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Greenville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pet Tender Angels Rescue and Rehabilitation, PO Box 273, Landrum, SC 29356, www.pettenderangels.org.
